About the service

Challenge

Traditional wedding invitations communicate event details but offer little interaction beyond an RSVP. Guests often need to search through messages for venue information, schedules, seating arrangements, and other important details.

I wanted to create a more engaging experience that made wedding information easy to access while reflecting the couple's story and personality.

My role

Founder, Product Designer & AI-Assisted Developer.

I conceived the experience, defined the product requirements, designed the guest journey, and built the platform using AI-assisted development tools.

Decisions & approach

I created a mobile-first digital wedding experience that transformed a traditional invitation into an interactive journey.

Using React and AI-assisted development, I built a storybook-style invitation that guided guests through the wedding information with smooth, continuous transitions and a simple RSVP experience.

The broader guest experience also incorporated searchable seating arrangements, digital event information, and guest-generated photography.

The emphasis was on making the platform intuitive for guests while creating something more personal than a conventional wedding website.

Outcomes

Successfully built and deployed for my wedding in September 2026.

It also generated organic interest: an attendee independently requested a similar experience for an upcoming wedding.

That interest provided early validation for exploring a broader wedding technology offering.

Lessons

The experience demonstrated how AI-assisted development could turn a personal idea into a functional digital product.
